Sliabh Liag Hill Walkers
The Slieve League Peninsula in south-west Donegal has some of the most scenic
walks in Europe and walks can be found for all ages and for all levels of fitness.
These walking events enable walkers to get together, walk in company and make
new friends. If you don't like the idea of walking alone, then an organised walking
event may be for you.
Walking is an excellent natural exercise that can help you stay healthy and
live longer; control your weight; keep happy; enjoy time with friends and family;
learn more about your local area and even look after the environment.
" That of Sliabh Liag is singularly magnificent. The tourist will
not fail to have fresh enlivening feelings awakened within by the cliff scenery
ranged all round, the ocean rolling far down below, and the extent of their
own elevation, raised above the seething waters." - Kinnfaela/TC
McGinley (1867)
